The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table
Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in influence within the city.
Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.
The Warrior Group Introduced
The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are rare.
Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
Casimir then settled his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile place.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- However, their status as important members in the powerful family could assist the team access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:
- The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
- The strong figure and Wicander defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The target is marked for death by the family.
This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.
What’s Next?
According to episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.
Fans can look forward to learning which players will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
